New website for the public institution "Zavod Komanski most"

On the recommendation of a satisfied client, the public institution “Dom Starih Podgorica”, we started talks about developing a website for the public institution Zavod “Komanski most”. At the very start we met a platform called “Joomla” and a rather dated web design.

At the first meeting with the client we agreed that, given the target audience, we needed to improve the look of the site and make it simpler to use. Early in the build we faced the migration of a large number of news items and documents that were laid out in a confusing way. Once that was solved we moved on to the design, and together with the client decided that the look should resemble Dom Starih, since the two institutions serve a similar purpose. After a few consultations we reached a final version that satisfied the client at first sight.

Moving to the new platform, correcting the URLs and following all of Google’s algorithm requirements meant that the change did not affect the site’s position in search results.
