March 2026 at Anart: faster sites, calmer servers and new client FAB
March was a month of big improvements: both our hosting platform and Anart Web (the tool we build client sites with) took a significant step forward.
Our servers — smarter and more reliable
The goal was simple: catch problems before the client even notices them.
- Smarter server health monitoring — the system now tells a real alarm from noise, so no more false alerts in the middle of the night
- Faster and more stable publishing of changes to sites — it automatically retries when the connection “hiccups”
- A clearer overview of all sites — we see the version and state of every site in one place
- Safer server settings — extra protection against configuration mistakes
Anart Web — faster loading and more control over content
Our site-building tool got seven releases in March (1.5.0 to 1.8.0) — a significant upgrade for a single month. Here is what matters most for clients.
New for content editing
- A new contact block for people — phone, Viber, WhatsApp and a form in one click (with a pre-filled message!).
- Show/hide blocks by category — more control over what is shown where
- Icon colours on “accordion” sections can now be set
- The first paragraph can become the article title.
Faster-loading sites
- Automatic conversion of images to WebP — smaller, faster, no loss of quality
- Automatic downsizing of huge images on upload
- Smarter loading of hero images — what you see first loads first
- Visitor statistics no longer slow the site down while it loads
Montenegrin done right
- Sites now correctly tell search engines that the content is in Montenegrin (sr-ME), not some odd code.
- The new “contact person” section comes translated.
Behind the scenes
- Demo content is now optional — clean sites from day one.
New client — The Collection FAB
In March we started working with The Collection FAB (thecollectionfab.com (opens in a new window)). The previous version of the site was built in Laravel and had no regular maintenance, so the client could not edit the content on their own. We moved the whole site to our Anart Web platform — content editing and every other change now happens directly from the admin area.
