February 2026 at Anart: the Web platform in Serbian and Laravel hosting
February brought two big improvements — a stronger and more accessible Web platform, and an even more reliable infrastructure behind it.
Web platform
Faster page loading
- Hero images now load smarter, so visitors see the content sooner and get a better experience.
Better SEO
- Breadcrumb navigation is now cleaner and clearer across the whole site.
- Fixed a problem that let search engines index an unnecessary page.
Full support for Serbian and Montenegrin
- The Web platform now fully supports Serbian and Montenegrin, including login screens, forms, date formats and every interface element.
- Translation updates can no longer overwrite your customised contact forms.
More creative freedom for editors
- Kicker text — add short labels above headings for a more visually attractive page layout.
- SVG icons in highlighted facts — drop sharp, scalable icons directly into sections with facts and figures.
- WebP image support — use modern, lighter image formats for faster page loading.
- Image-only teasers — a new card display option for visually driven content overviews.
Design improvements
- Smoother navigation menu animations on hover
- Redesigned accordions with better structure and easier customisation
- Footer headings now adapt nicely to every screen size
- Improved scaling of icons and vector graphics across the site
Security
- The spam protection widget (Turnstile) can now automatically adapt to your site’s light or dark theme.
Infrastructure
Laravel support
- We now host Laravel applications alongside Drupal — fully automated setup, one-command deployment and backups included with no extra configuration.
Server health monitoring
A new automated monitoring system checks every site and server every 10 minutes. It watches disk space, memory, services, SSL certificates and the database connection. We get an instant email when something needs attention, and a “resolved” notice when the problem is fixed. A daily morning report confirms that everything works as it should, so no news always means good news.
More reliable email notifications
We replaced the email sending system with one that queues messages and retries instead of failing silently. Alert emails now always get delivered, even during temporary network problems.
Faster and cheaper backups
- Backups now run 10 times faster in daily mode because they scan only what has changed. We also optimised the storage strategy to reduce cloud storage costs while keeping the same data retention policies.
Smoother deployment
- The deployment process is now smarter about errors — if something fails before the code changes are applied, the site automatically returns to its previous state.
- We also added translation support for multilingual sites.
Security and SSL fixes
- SSL certificate renewal now works correctly on password-protected sites.
- Removed outdated SSL configuration to comply with current industry standards.
February in one sentence: more freedom for editors, more oversight of the infrastructure, more reliability in everyday work.
